Erotic Romance, Historical fiction

In a time when women have few options for their futures, bluestocking wallflower Llysa Hamilton has aged out of the marriage mart. With offers for her hand unlikely, she enlists Madame Eve's 1Night Stand service to find the perfect man for one passionate night.

Wolfe Thane, Duke of Foxhaven, has never lacked for anything, but he's bored with his entitled life. Winning a 1Night Stand voucher in a poker game appears to offer a perfect, commitment-free opportunity to add spice to his sex life.

Hiding behind a mask during her date with the duke offers Llysa anonymity and courage. Wolfe has never met a woman as intriguing and disingenuous.

Can true love be unmasked in just one night or will it be destined to stay on the shelf?

What's an unmarried debutante to do if she reaches the ripe old age of 25 without making a match?

Lady Elizabeth Hamilton takes matters firmly in hand in THE DUKE AND THE VIRGIN by Dominique Eastwick. She engages the services of the illustrious Madame Evangeline to arrange for a night of anonymous pleasure. She never expected that her partner would be none other than Wolf Thane, the Duke of Foxhaven.

What follows is a delightfully naughty story filled with passion as Lady Elizabeth embraces her newfound skills. Both characters are strong and well developed, providing a contrast to the stereotypical members of the ton.

The author provides a front row seat to steamy encounters in a time period when women were told "to lie back and think of England" on their wedding night. While it was a short read, the author supplies ample details to support the storyline in order to maintain the reader's attention.

Good characters and plenty of sexual exploration in a well-written package equal a successful story.
