Erotic Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Vamps & Shifters Romance
Wess Gage started the CRU, or Cooperative Response Unit, as a way to bring humans and vampires together to hunt evil bloodsuckers like Taspar Tong. He has the backing of his sister and brother-in-law—both master vampires—and he grows to like the vampires who serve them. That includes Natalia, a vampiress with a head for science who agrees to help the CRU develop new weaponry.
What Wess doesn't know is that Natalia is on the hunt for a traitor. Someone is leaking information to both Taspar Tong and the Human Rebellion—a group determined to exterminate all vampires. Wess and his friends are former Rebels; could one of them be the culprit she's after?
As attraction flares and turns more serious, Natalia risks her heart to draw Wess deeper into the vampire world. Violence shatters the tense and fragile calm, but they'll need to pull together to survive. Especially when the traitor is finally revealed.

While on the hunt for a traitor, Natalia risks her heart to draw Wess deeper into the vampire world and then violence shatters the tense and fragile calm. They'll need to pull together to survive in this exciting paranormal romance.
Wess started the CRU as a way to bring humans and vampires together and the reader can't help but get caught up in the intrigue and excitement as the hunt for the evil bloodsucker Taspar Tong leads to a devastating betrayal. The spine tingling tension keeps the adrenaline pumping throughout the story as several missions take deadly turns. The hunt for the traitor keeps everyone guessing with unexpected twists, surprising readers along the way. The intriguing events draw the reader in and guarantee that they have to know what happens next with the well written scenes and vivid details making it easy for the reader to picture each and every scene and to get to know the characters.
The fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance while the strong characters seduce the readers with their charm, wit and compelling personalities. The chemistry between Wess and Natalia sizzles with lots of heat that the characters weren't expecting and the romance has some humorous sides as well as some extremely rough trials that has emotional turmoil flowing from the pages. To spice things up even more, the vampires that are assigned to work with Wess at the CRU do so with a fragile peace that keeps tensions high but with a determination to make it work. Let's not forget the human hunters also put in an appearance that leads to an extremely upsetting event.
Once again, this series had me spellbound from the very beginning and I can't believe how Wess and Natalia's story worked out. What a surprise, especially as I wasn't so sure about Natalie and Wess being together but they quickly got me on board with their romance. And just to rant: I really hope that sometime in the future that the traitor gets an extremely nasty surprise that thoroughly pays him back.
