Action/Adventure Romance, Erotic Romance, Ménage or more, Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance

Born albino, Bianca was spared death in infancy when her mother found safe haven among the ghosts and misfits of Amazon Pack. As Guardian of Amazon, she protects the hidden pack with a ferocity that belies her delicate appearance.

Jack's routine investigation of rogue wolf sightings in his territory uncovers both Bianca's secrets and her passionate nature. He finds her alluring and terrifying: he's convinced she's his mate, but is she also the Usher—key to their culture's most sacred prophecies?

The Usher's destiny requires a sacrifice to repair a rift in wolf culture and set the Goddess free. Can Jack and Bianca trust each other enough to pay that price?

You can't fight fate, even if you try.

Bianca is an albino wolf. They are rare, because when an albino wolf is born, they are usually killed. Pack mentality dictates that albinos are defective; they will damage the gene pool, they are an abomination. There is also a legend about a single albino wolf called the albina, that she will usher in a new age for all wolves with a supreme sacrifice. Bianca IS that wolf. She has known all her life that when she finds her mate, her path will be set in motion...and there is nothing she can do to stop it.

Jack Murphy was sent on a mission by his brother the alpha: Find the rogue wolf running near their border and deal with the problem. Sounds simple enough, until he sees the most amazing woman he has ever seen, and he knows this is his mate. How fascinating that she is an albino.

This story checked so many of my must haves for a great book. There was action from minute one, there were hot scenes not only between M/F but F/F and M/F/F, plenty of hot to go around. But the world this author created was powerful. So many hierarchies and nuances without being confusing. I haven't been so fascinated with a world since Black Dagger Brotherhood, it just has that mystical feel to it that can't be put into words.

My only complaint is that things happened too fast, the story was too choppy, and there was not enough build up to big changes, as they just happened. If the author could have rounded out everything a bit more, this would be a 5 star read all around. I still highly recommend this book and will definitely look for book 2.
