TWICE BITTEN TO PARADISE is the second of the series and continues the interesting take on the author's story of vampires, gypsies and good versus evil. The cast of characters is wonderfully written, varied, fun and interesting as this story continues from the first book.

At the end of book one, all hell was breaking loose with Gail in the middle of it. What had started as a wonderful evening at the opening of the new BDSM club, Eternity, turned into a battle between old enemies. The Queen of the Vampires' progeny has been cursed by the Gypsy Luminista, who blames Demetria for not saving her son.

As Gail's employee, Bree is at Eternity helping and meets a couple of vampires of her own. She is left with mixed emotions and fear when the gypsy who caused the curse against the vampires, gives her some unwanted information. That Bree is of the gypsy bloodline and is supposed to help Luminista with killing all vampires. Except Bree is falling in love with the two vampires she met in book one, Rafe and Luc. Together, can they defeat Luminista?

This story is one of misunderstandings, omissions of truth between Bree and her men. It's also a journey home and a confrontation with the power-hungry mother, who caused Bree to leave home all those years ago. She reunites with her best friend Selena, who loses everything in a fire and moves back with Bree to Connecticut.

This is a series that needs to be read in order. Book one sets up the story in book two. And there are unanswered questions in this book that need to be answered in book three, which I hope is Selena's story.

TWICE BITTEN TO PARADISE is a well-written story, with characters and story line that hold my attention. It makes me want the next book in the series to be published soon. It was fun to read and I'm looking forward to the next one.
