Kathryn, here. I've been hooked on romance books since the early 80s when I was given a copy of Kathleen Woodiwiss's "Ashes in the Wind." I devoured it, then immediately searched for "more of the same, only different" books. Prior to romance I read horror, so when the paranormal market came into being I was happier than a bunny smack dab in the middle of an alfalfa field, and I consumed the books just as quickly.
I enjoy a variety of heat levels from mild and sweet to wickedly hot. I prefer paranormals, but love just about any setting ranging from Ancient Egypt to modern times. Since I first discovered romance in books, my life has never been without it.
Occasionally, I also enjoy needlework (Crewel, needlepoint)
Unfortunately, I also have a black thumb, so I don't attempt to grow anything unless I want it to die a slow and painful death.
