I grew up in Africa on a diet of unconventional parents, theatre and Georgette Heyer. Eventually I went into acting and trod the boards in England until the writing bug got me, when I changed to teaching and directing while penning historical romances and women's fiction. My 8 year apprenticeship ended with publication by Mills & Boon, for whom I wrote 18 historicals.
Times change, though, and I have moved into self-publishing my Regencies and am now a hybrid author. My Lady Fan Mystery series is now five books strong with another one on the way, now published by Sapere Books, who are also republishing my Brides by Chance Regency Adventures series.
Reading is my great love, but I also like to acquire knowledge and do courses for this. I enjoy movies, and having been an actress, I do like theatre-going. Directing used to be a favourite, but sadly I have less time these days.
