Monique Sorgen is a screenwriter with more dating experience than she'd like to admit. Her vast experience has lead her to a plethora a knowledge which she uses to inform her work, as well as enlighten and empower the next generation of daters. She has studied and poked fun at the dating experience through her work on such television shows as Blind Date and UPN's The Player, as well as through several romantic comedies, including the Chinese remake of Love Stinks, Happily Whatever After, and Rock n' Roll Princess, among many others.
While Monique has many years of experience writing about the topic for television and film, "How Long You Should Wait to Have Sex" is her first novel.
