Kris Embrey's love of music took her to New York where she met several bands of the time. She later moved to Kansas City where she worked for Dick Clark, who owned a restaurant. Embrey held many positions within the company and became employee of the year,then moved to Los Angeles to work as a runner for his production company for a brief period. Embrey then spent several years in the advertising industry until returning to the catering and entertainment field. She is working on the follow-up to her first book, as well as a nonfiction book.
