Rebecca Skovgaard is a midwife, which is a job very much about helping women find their strength. That's a theme you'll find in her romance novels as well. (You'll always find a midwife, there, too.)
She lives in Rochester, New York, where, she says, you can never have too many spring bulbs in your garden or Christmas lights in your trees.
Her husband is a scientist/chi gong student/woodworker, and their three children are turning into quite interesting people, too.
Midwifery is her day (and night) job that she hasn't quit yet, but she's been writing romance stories in her head since she was a kid. She's very happy to be getting them out on paper (electronically speaking) now.
