I was a voracious reader as a child, devouring anything by Enid Blyton as well as series such as Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, The Baby-sitters Club and Sweet Valley High. Then one school holidays when I'd run out of books to read, my mum handed me ‘Hot Ice' by Nora Roberts and I instantly fell in love with romance novels.
The love of reading soon turned to a love of writing and I struggled to keep within the 1500 word limit set by my teachers for any creative writing assignments. When I finally decided to become serious about my stories, I joined Romance Writers of Australia, found my wonderful critique group and haven't looked back.
When I'm not reading or writing I can be found in the garden attempting to grow vegetables, or racing around a vintage motocross track. If I can convince anyone to play with me, I also enjoy cards and board games.
I live in Western Australia, just south of Perth, with my husband, who loves even my most annoying quirks, and my two grubby, but adorable Australian bulldogs.
Aside from reading, I enjoy gardening and have recently taken up vintage motocross.
