My love of history began in my teens when, as an Army brat, I lived in Germany and visited old cathedrals and walked castle ramparts. During High School, I had a great history teacher who made different eras come alive and it was at that time I picked up Kathleen Woodiwiss' The Flame and the Flower. Romance books swept me away, just like the Army officer who won my love and nurtured my fascination with old Army forts. After raising four children all over the world, it was a pleasure to finally write my own stories of Regency Pirate Action/Adventure Romance.
When I'm not researching historical information, I love writing, spending time with my family, brainstorming with an author friend, reading, knitting, gardening, quilting, arts and crafts, sewing, walking, and traveling.
