Nancy DeRosa lives in Westchester, NY with her husband, three children and a Boston Terrier named Rocky. Nancy has a BA from SUNY Purchase and in addition has taken creative writing courses. She published short stories before her first women's fiction; "There's No Place Like Home," was published in 2004. She went on to publish a children's book; "Lazy Robert," and another women's fiction; "A Penny's Worth" before working on the FOOD FOR THOUGHT SERIES. The first book of the series; Food For Thought; First Course was published this year. Nancy had appeared on the Food Network, "Food Detectives," and loves creating all the delicious meals, cocktails and desserts that appear in FOOD FOR THOUGHT; First Course. Food becomes the prop in this story as social interactions take place and the drama unfolds. Her second book of the series; "Second Course," will be published in early winter of this year. She is currently working on the third installment; "Just Desserts and is already creating her story line for "After Dinner Drinks."
Nancy loves to cook, paint, has acted in independent films, and is learning to needlepoint. She also enjoys hiking, loves being at the beach and walking her dog with friends. She reads romance, historical fiction, mysteries, and non fiction books. Most of all, she loves spending time with family and friends, especially with a cocktail and dinner!!
