A native of Quebec's Eastern Townships, Mia Bellamie now resides in Ontario with her husband and three children. Her passion revolves around her family time, reading, and writing.
Like most women, she enjoys putting aside her day-to-day habits and letting her mind wander to other worlds where love, passion, and sensuality exist without boundary. Her love of fantasy romance novels combined with her interest toward historical legends guide her in producing engaging stories.
The youngest daughter of a French-Canadian poet named Imagie, Mia followed in her mother's footsteps when encouraged by her family to explore her own ideas and writing abilities. She took creative writing classes at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario and with the continuing support of her family, the "Legends of Mhyrium" series is born in 2011, with its first story, "Mate of Mine."
Besides reading, camping and enjoying quality family time, Mia also takes part in various charity fundraisers.
Her favorite way to support organizations is in the saddle of her Yamaha V-Star 1100, taking on some of the most beautiful riding trails Canada has to offer while supporting worthwhile causes.
