My childhood dream was to be an actor. I received a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and embarked on a career that included off-Broadway, summer stock, films and a road company tour of Europe, all of which failed to bring stardom but was excellent training for my writing career that followed. After raising three children, I began writing for the stage and TV. Another career as a biofeedback (stress-reduction) practitioner helped pay the bills when, suddenly single again and inspired by an overwhelming urge to knock someone off, I created the bestselling "Other Deadly Things" mystery series which deals with the murderously wacky world of divorce.
Although some of the five books are set in suburban New Jersey where I raised my family, I now live in sunny California with my very level-headed new husband and my three rescue cats. Not so coincidentally, my latest book, "Ablaze," is a romantic suspense.
