Let's see....If you like time travel romance, have you tried the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon? When I get home, I have a listing of books I read (since I'm having a memory hiccup at the moment). I also have a GoodReads account which I've listed the books I've read. I'll give you more suggestions later this evening.

As part of the summer event, here's a blurb for my book The Bloodgate Guardian. Comment here or below on the pyramid post to be entered to win a $10 gift certificate to any online retailer of your choice!

Dr. Jaid Merritt doesn't do digs. The last time she ventured into the jungle, someone died. Now she's content to decipher Maya glyphs from pictures sent to her by her famous archaeologist father. But when he goes missing while trying to perform a ritual based on her translations of an ancient codex, Jaid must put aside her fears and travel to Guatemala to find him.

*jaguars, pyramids, Maya demons, jungle, and a sexy Maya priest!*

Why do you read romance?
For me it's escapism.
There's so much stress and strife in real life that even the briefest of immersions in a good romance (preferably a Regency romance...but that's must me) keeps me sane.
How about you?
If you'd like to know more visit my post over at Romancing the Book (PS- there's also a giveaway of an Amazon voucher for one lucky comment.)

Reading, in general, is a great form of escapism and entertainment for me. Romances are enjoyable reads, the wonderful settings, the handsome hero, the beautiful heroine; wow, what's not to love? I'll check out your post, Grace.
