A definite 5-star read!
Thirty-two-year-old Ash MacBryde returns to his roots when he takes over the running of the family ranch. He's been through the stress and fear of being in the Corps Of Engineers in the military in Iraq, so for him, taking over the ranch is a dream come true. He's used to being alone and has developed a hard shell, refusing to let anyone into his heart.
Oak Richards is a twenty-six-year-old endurance rider who loves working with horses and has recently experienced a heartbreaking break up and an injury. He's shy, polite and just what Ash needs, according to Ash's sister Amy, who is determined to play matchmaker so she puts a devious plan in place to bring these two damaged men together...
Even before they meet face to face, these two men are attracted to each other, conversations and Skype calls bringing them into each other's fantasies. So when they finally do meet up close and in person, is it any wonder that the chemistry abounds and heat between them is incendiary...
Beautifully written and with male leads that will just break your heart with their emotional stories, depth of character and sheer sexiness, this is a true love story of two men coming together on the ranch to find in each other what is missing in themselves.
"I came. I saw. I swooned." Ash's first impression of the young man with eyes of blue like a stormy ocean leaves him tongue tied. Oak feels the same, and so the game between them begins. It's hot, sexy, tender and leaves you saying, "Awww, these two are just beautiful together."
Once again, Nya Rawlyns proves she can weave a spellbinding and poignant tale of two men finding love. I just wish it had been longer so I could have read deeper into the night instead of gobbling it up greedily like a plate of delicious sticky toffee pudding.
