CAMERON ENDERS seems to have it all: a brand new condo in a city she loves, a top executive position at an international entertainment firm, an insane amount of money, and a gorgeous boyfriend. But when Cami catches the boyfriend in the act with another woman, it triggers all the anguish from years of neglect by her parents, and she realizes she never learned how to love or be loved. Cami flees to the remote tropical island of Tarah, but she can't avoid facing her problems any longer when she meets the man of her fantasies...

TRISTAN MICHAELS, one of Hollywood's hottest new stars, has come to Tarah to ride out a storm. His girlfriend of five years has been caught on camera cheating, and she's determined to make Tristan stop the story from breaking. But Tristan's done cleaning up her messes. He needs to escape all things Hollywood for a while--and especially the firm that represents him--until the whole thing blows over. What he doesn't count on is meeting an irresistibly beautiful woman, a woman who just so happens to be the CEO of the firm he's trying to avoid.

Can Tristan and Cami help each other learn to trust and love again, or will their histories of betrayal tear them apart?

See, I liked this couple until they announced their allegiance to the Baltimore Ravens and hatred of my beloved Steelers! I should give this a 1 rating just for that alone! Alas, that may be frowned upon, so I'll say that this otherwise kick ass book is well worth picking up.

After catching her boyfriend getting down and dirty with another chick, Cameron Enders decides a break is in order. She leaves Phoenix and heads for the exclusive and private island of Tarah, the very island where the man she's been lusting over for years has also decided to hide. Tristan Michaels is Hollywood royalty, but if anyone knew just how much of a two bit lying whore his girlfriend is, they might have a different opinion! In an effort to get his head on straight, he's holed up in a private penthouse on Tarah. When he meets the beautiful woman with the fairy wings inked on her back, he's immediately enchanted. Cami and Tristan find a magical love in Tarah that neither expected but both embrace.

FINDING LOVE'S WINGS is the first book in the Love's Wings Series as well as the overall "world" that includes the 69 Bottles spinoff series (which I loved). Having read the 69 Bottles books first and being introduced to Cami and Tristan there, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect in their own story. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I loved this couple together!

Cami and her "wealthy but shuffled off to boarding school" childhood contradicts Tristan's hardworking and adoring mother, setting them both up with interesting backgrounds. I could relate to Cami's PR world personally, and I appreciated that Tristan wasn't the stereotypical Hollywood playboy that is tamed. Their chemistry was immediate and undeniable, and the sex scenes were off the charts erotic, if quite on the vanilla side (a surprise from Ms. Derrick!). Other than the terribly rude Steelers dis, the only other thing that drove me a little batty was keeping the "T" names and nicknames straight, particularly when they're all mentioned close together. Tristan became Trey, Travis became Trav and Tyson became Ty. At least I think that's how it went, I got confused when they were all together at the end. Other than that, this was a terrific start to the Love's Wings Series and I'm stoked to read more about this couple in the follow up, Chasing Love's Wings.

Bottom Line: You'll fall in love with both Cami and Tristan and their mutual appreciation of tattoos and piercings!
