Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense/Mystery
Tyler "Jagger" Jaggerstein is ready to cast off the weight of his SEALs responsibility for a few days of fun and relaxation with his teammates. Except he's stuck in an airport waiting for his childhood friend. Maybe a quick lunch, a fast game of catch up, and he'll be out the door. Until a goddess steps off the plane and he's left breathless and eager to change his plans.
In Key West for a conference, Alexa Westlake can't wait to see Ty again and prove once and for all her silly girlhood crush is just that, a crush. But when she finally sees him, all those old feelings come rushing back, combined with a woman's needs that leave her trembling with desire.
A few days is all they have, but will it be enough for Lexa to finally put her fantasy hero in the past or will she permanently succumb to Jagger's moves?

Ms. Standifer brought us hard with this story. The fast-paced story was full of love, lust, past, and future, blended and woven together seamlessly to form this engaging tale. Her descriptive words painted vivid pictures that captured my attention and held it in a stranglehold until the very end. I was impressed with how much personality and emotion she infused in her molten lava sex scenes, which didn't detract from the beautifully crafted love story.
Navy Seal Tyler "Jagger" Jaggerstein is on leave in the Florida Keys when he's recruited to meet up with family friend, Alexa Westlake, settle her into her hotel and take her out on the town. While waiting for Lex to arrive, he's accosted by a beautiful "Goddess" who kisses him like he's the only one that matters and jumpstarts his libido. The discovery that the Goddess and Lex are one and the same changes life as he knew it.
Alex Westlake has always had a crush on Tyler. But the Navy stole him away and ruined her chance before it truly began. Never seen as anything more than a sister, she's tried unsuccessfully to move on from her dream man. The proverbial boy-next-door syndrome is ruining her love life. So, she vows to give him a test drive, get him out of her system and move on. But we all know life has a funny way of derailing the best laid plans
This is a must read I recommend to all romance readers, especially if you like second chance love.
