With Fashion Week approaching, she'll do whatever it takes to secure the fabrics she needs to make her clothing line an international success—even sleep with her rival.
Lex's Louboutins are dug in deep to win this war. All's fair in love and fashion!

A woman that is torn between what happened when she was a teenager and now in the arms of a Prince was once again in the spotlight. Was she ready to lose everything she has worked so hard to build?
This is the second book that I have reviewed for Avery Aster, and I know I did it a little backwards reading book 2, Unscrupulous, before book 1, UNDRESSED. However, after reading Unscrupulous, I knew that I needed to read Lex's story. Ms Aster's writing style is very unique as are her characters and that is something that I love about her. She has a way of transporting me into the storyline which I love. I love to feel connected to the characters and their emotions and to what is going on around them. While reading this story, I felt emotionally conflicted together with Lex and the amount of problems she was having due to leaving her finances in the hands of her mother. Then there is Prince Massimo, an alpha male that people underestimated and misunderstood. Yes, he is a cocky man but underneath everything, he is a good, loving man.
Lex Easton is a very persistent, bossy, demanding businesswoman when it comes to saving her company. So when she finds out her fabric shipment is not going to be sent to her, a little visit to Prince Massimo is next on the agenda. She has no idea that her mother kept a secret from her, but when she realizes that Massimo is planning to be her competitor she has her own little secret. Only as things get heated up between them, something happens and she devises a proposition of her own. Only this might get a little tricky because in that proposition, she wants his "huge as a horse", and that just might break her heart if feelings for Massimo grow into love.
Prince Massimo Tittoni, as described by Ms Aster, is "a fifty-two-inch chested, six foot three standing, browned eyed, black-haired, hundreds to billions dollars rich, hung as a horse, cocky, conceited, alpha male." He was scared of monogamy relationships, as he had done that already and he was not going to get hurt again. He was such a jerk I could not believe what he did to Lex. Sure, she got amazing orgasms out of it, but he practically ran her off, it was a total let down.
Lex wanted Massimo in the worst way, but no matter how much she tried to get into his pants, nothing was working. She truly tried everything but her seduction was not working on him. Massimo is a man that loves deeply and he knows that if he touches her, his heart will be in it and that's the last thing he wants. Plus, when Massimo learns Lex's secret, it could change his life forever.
Like I said before, there is something unique, special and rare in Ms Avery's writing style. It's intense, intelligent, and emotional and I totally love it. Her descriptive writing is perfect; it's as though I can picture the scenes happening right in front of me. This is a fun, fast-paced read that had me laughing and enjoying the banter between Lex and Massimo. The character development is excellent and the storyline kept me engrossed. I wanted to know what would happen next. There were times that I found myself with tears running down my checks as I was saddened with the route their relationship was going. I loved how Lex's character was full of spunk and she spoke her mind. I loved how her friends were there to support her. Taddy, Blake and Vive were amazing!!
Ms Avery's descriptive writing of the erotic scenes were so intense, steaming hot and erotic that I had to catch my breath. I will forewarn readers that there is a little voyeurism and all I can say is that that part of the story was hot. Lex is a very sexual person; even if there really hasn't been much in the bedroom, she still has her fun with trusty vibrator "Masi". The passion that Massimo expresses is out of this world, his touch, his caresses, his dirty talking. I could really see the love they have for each other in every action. Massimo is an amazing lover.
UNDRESSED is a must read. I could not put it down. From the minute I started, I could not stop. Lex and Massimo were a beautiful couple whose story made me laugh, cry, and made me mad but what I loved even more was their beautiful happily ever after.

Mmmmhmm, anyone know where I can get my own Prince Charming?!?
Fashion maven Alexandra "Lex" Easton" is faah-REEKING out! When her fabrics don't arrive ahead of NY Fashion Week, and a phone call to the supplier results in her being informed that they're not going to fulfill her order, Lex boards a plane to Italy to face Girasoli Garment Company CEO, Prince Massimo Tittoni. Even though she's the daughter of a rock legend, Lex has gone her whole life being the behind the scenes good girl, until she meets Massimo in person...then she lets her diva flag fly.
Massimo is enchanted by the spirited American designer who storms his palace demanding his attention. He wishes to help her and devises a way where they can both prosper. Massimo never expected to fall in love with his untamed fashionista…his entire world has been turned upside down with her arrival, and he couldn't be happier. But can their newfound love survive sex, drugs and rock and roll drama?
UNDRESSED is the second book in the raunchy and rockin' <>The Manhattanites series by Ms. Aster, this one focusing on the seemingly demure member of the group of friends, Lex. But that assumption flies out the window when she's caught creepin' on a hot as hell ménage (lawdy that was a sinfully hot scene)!! The sex scenes were delectably erotic and over the top, yet somehow totally fitting the feel of the book. I absolutely adored that it was Lex who did the pursuing and Massimo who held her off for fear of losing his heart. She came off as a bit quiet and reserved, but was truly a headstrong, bossy and sassy chick who knew how to put even royalty in their place.
Massimo wasn't the playboy Prince the tabloids made him out to be; instead he was genuine and sweet and flirty in that over the top, Mediterranean way. Lex was such a contradiction too, the daughter of infamous, hard partying 80's icons, the founder of a major fashion house, yet determined to keep her face out of the spotlight and not cash in on her parents' celebrity. And the drama toward the end was perfect for the tone of the book. I loved the scandal and the PR push that ensued from both sides of the pond. I so want to be BFF's with all of the Manhattanites!!
Bottom Line: I liked this book much more than the first The Manhattanites offering. I'm looking forward to Blake's story, the next in this debauched and decadent series!
