A young woman's sexual fantasies and emotional desires come true in this intriguing and erotic romance.
Felicity Featherstone falls hard and fast for Dom Maverick Orantes and then for Kyle Easton, a paranormal investigator who arrives in town, and she is torn between the two handsome men. This fast-paced plot stimulates the senses with suspense and romance. The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery, details and strong compelling characters that capture the imagination. The tension builds with the bad guy plot that adds depth to the story, but the main story is the growing romance between Felicity and her two men.
The chemistry between Felicity and Maverick explodes off the pages with lots of sexual tension and red hot sex scenes that include BDSM scenes. The attraction between Kyle and Felicity builds a little slower but is just as hot and steamy. Kyle and Maverick however are not real sure that they like each other, much less want to share a woman, but things heat up even more when they finally give in to Felicity's sexual fantasies with menage sex scenes that scorch the reader.
The two men not knowing each other make things refreshingly different as it means the relationship is new for all three characters, not just the woman. This adds to the emotional turmoil and drama, which the reader can certainly relate to and draws them deeper into the story. Also, the setting adds a bit of mystique because of the previous relationships and the paranormal element that's hinted at.
I haven't read the previous books in this series or the Racy Nights series from which this book spins off, but I have read The Alpha Legend series that is also connected to this one and so far I have really enjoyed them. I was engrossed in this book from the beginning and I was totally captivated by the characters. I am adding this author to my "definitely read" list.
