The last thing she wanted was a hired bodyguard shadowing her every move, especially the hot-as-hell alpha male type that pushed all her off-limits buttons.

Attorney Val Martin knew that witnessing something she wasn't supposed to see could likely put a target on her back, but she didn't really worry about it. But when the perpetrator she'd identified made bail, Val's father didn't give her a choice. He'd already hired Chaz Evans of Evans Security and nothing Val said would convince her father or her newly hired bodyguard that she'd be okay without a man's protection.

What was really aggravating was that she'd met sexy Chaz before and, while their attraction was instantaneous, Val had turned over a new leaf. No more lust-filled one night stands for her, no more meaningless hook-ups, so she had avoided womanizing Chaz like he had the plague. So much for staying out of his orbit now!

Chaz Evans hadn't been able to get Val Martin out of his head since her girlfriends introduced them a few months back. In fact, his itch for Val was so bad that he hadn't even been able to look at another woman since then. He knew Val felt the sizzling attraction just as much as he did and he was convinced he could do his job, get the girl, and hopefully get her just as quickly out of his system. Chaz figured he could get up close and personal with Val real fast, he just never figured the experience would leave him with a scorching case of heartburn, and neither did Val.

I have a theory about author Tory Richards. I suspect that when she writes, her keyboard smokes! I certainly imagined it did with this delicious conclusion to her Evans Brothers Trilogy. If anything, the push and pull between Val and Chaz is the hottest conflagration in the series, and the missing condom scene was certainly funny and original. Fans who have enjoyed A Perfect Fit and Surrender to Desire definitely won't want to miss out on Val's story, especially since she plays a role in the two aforementioned tales.

Bravo, Tory Richards, for an entertaining series with three hot triplet heroes and three sassy heroines. And, way to finish with a strong conclusion!
