What happens when a woman wants to open up a vegetarian restaurant in cattle country? A sweet romance.

Moving to Montana was Autumn Lavin's way of starting over. She is currently pregnant and has put all her money into this new venture. A vegetarian restaurant with a juice bar at the Cariston Bar and Grill in cattle country Montana. As she tries to build support for her diner, she is met with opposition from some of the folks in town, and one of the fiercest comes from Jonas Barnes, who is a local rancher.

Jonas Barnes currently has a contract with the local restaurant to supply it with beef from his ranch. Jonas has been counting on the sale of the beef to make ends meet. He heads to Autumn's restaurant to determine if she plans to honor the contract or not.

After their initial encounter, Jonas and Autumn continue to run into each other at different times and their attraction continues to grow. They both try and fight the attraction as Autumn wants to focus on her restaurant and Jonas is still recovering from old wounds when he was in the military. While working around her attraction for Jonas, Autumn also has to deal with the hostility directed towards her vegetarian restaurant.

AUTUMN'S HOPE is a sweet and quick read. I found it at times to be quite funny as the thought of a vegetarian restaurant in cattle country can only make for some funny moments. Autumn herself is quite a determined young woman. She is hoping for a better life for herself and her child so she puts everything into this restaurant. What she didn't anticipate was Jonas.

Jonas took a little warming up to as he came across a little rough. But once he started courting Autumn, he showed his really sweet and caring side. Jonas has issues with his ability to have a full relationship with a woman because of his injuries from the war. Autumn helps him move past this with her support and love. The story shows the reader that love comes in the most unexpected of places.
