Five years ago, Carter Ryder fled his hometown the night his parents were killed, leaving a nightmare, and the two people he loved most, behind to enlist in the army. An attack on his outpost left him with the psychological burden of war and his promise to his fallen friend to fix the mess he had left in Ryder.
Summer Enderson's heart and dreams were shattered the night Carter left. The only comfort she found was sharing her pain with Carter's closest friend, Braden Hoyt. Slowly, they built a new life together on selfless love, and the scars left by Carter began to fade. When Carter returns unexpectedly, all of her old hopes and despairs burst to the surface.
Not everyone is thrilled about the missing Ryder's return. While Carter is fighting to win back the trust and hearts of Summer and Braden, someone is threatening to bring harm to them, and with it, a dark secret that can crumble the foundation of the Ryder family.

What's a couple to do when the man they were both in love with returns to town hell-bent on reclaiming them both? Jump in with both feet!
After his parents were killed, Carter Ryder left town, enlisting in the Army and leaving behind the two people he loved the most, Summer Enderson and Braden Holt, without so much as a "see ya later." Now five years later, Carter returns to Ryder, KS to make amends with Summer and Braden, and hopefully heal himself in the process.
Summer and Braden have built a life together in Carter's wake, but when Carter returns to Ryder, all emotional hell breaks loose between the three. Years ago, Summer and Carter were together and desperately in love, but Carter was carrying on a secret affair with Braden, too. Now that everything is out in the open, can Summer accept that her men are in love with each other, but more importantly, will Carter stick around this time to figure out if the three of them can build a life together?
SUMMER'S WICKED COWBOYS is book #3 in the Casanova Cowboys series which features some tasty threesomes and some seriously lucky women. I thought that every one of the encounters that Braden was in blew my dirty mind--he was so raunchy and fun that I found myself falling totally in love with him. However, the fact that he essentially cheats on Summer before she knows Carter is back in town totally ruined him for me. I hated that Braden and Summer supposedly built this solid, strong relationship yet completely failed to communicate the fact that they were both kinda getting it on with Carter without discussing it. Just...no. So ya'll are totally in love and Summer is the center of both men's worlds, yet they lied, cheated and betrayed her repeatedly. Just not a fan of that.
But evidently Summer didn't care, because she just went right along with the MMF program. Even though both men swore that Summer was the knot holding them all together, I didn't get that feeling at all. I really felt like Braden was pretty much just using Summer for sex until he could get his hands on Carter again.
The biggest redeeming factor was the super crazy hot sex, whether it be MF, MM or MMF, every single scene scorched my ereader screen. And there was a touch of suspense in SUMMER'S WICKED COWBOYS that I enjoyed, though it could have been a little more drawn out and given a bit more depth. Overall this was a decent, very erotic book with controversial characters that may piss you off.
