Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, Fantasy Romance, Time Travel
Can one misplaced Victorian gentleman and one modern woman intent on a Girls Gone Wild seduction work out the mystery of time travel?
Actually, will they get out of bed long enough to try?
Ian McCullough is a man out of time. Literally. One minute he's in 1891 London working on a time machine with a mad old scientist and the next minute he's in the twenty-first century in an ocean side mansion in Maine. The house, and the fortune that comes with it, are evidently his, all set up and waiting for him. Now what?
When investment adviser Genie Lindsay travels to Maine to meet her reclusive new client, she's supposed to be explaining his finances to him. But one look at the guy, all tall-dark-and-handsome, and she'd like to be explaining a few other things as well. Like the sexual revolution for starters.

Can true love really conquer all between this Victorian gentleman and self-confident woman?
Ian McCullough is not interested in women. He is interested in numbers and equations. If it wasn't for his manhood, he wouldn't give a women a second look. Without a wife, the next best place in the Victorian era to find pleasure is at Madame Tulle's establishment. It is here that Ian met Jonathan Finklebottom and Ian's would life as he knows it changes, but will it be forever?
Fast forward to the current century to E.H. (Genie) Lindsay driving her BMW to the middle of nowhere Maine to meet a client, in a horrible storm. Feeling she would drive off the cliff before she would reach her destination, she finally arrives unscathed as she turns a sharp curve. She didn't expect the owner of the mansion to answer the door himself or to be sexy and attractive.
Will this awkward man, who turns out to be Ian, and Genie be able to break down the wall of being born in different centuries and allow them to pursue what they feel for each other?
This book has a lot going on. It started out a little slow but the pace picked up. By the end, I didn't want the book to end. I had a little trouble with one of the characters, Nikola Tesla. He is an actual person, and I couldn't get into the story where it describes the scenes he was in. I loved Genie's self-confidence and I really love Ian for trying to fit in to a century he knows very little about.
I think if I was Genie, I wouldn't have stuck around after Ian told her about who he was. Her mom coming was an added bonus and added depth to the story. It didn't end like I thought it would, but I loved it.
YOUR CENTURY OR MINE is a hot read with a good story. If you like strong female characters and a story with a historical twist, then this book is for you.
