The first book in the New Hope Valley series is a fascinating shifter world.

This fast-paced plot keeps the reader on their toes and thoroughly entertained throughout this short and fast read. The author gives the story life with vivid descriptions, strong enchanting characters and an intriguing story line. The emotions and personalities of the characters are clear and grab the reader's attention, making it easy to relate to them. Summer and Evan's attraction to each other radiates from the pages and the sex scenes are scorching hot.
This enjoyable story of shifters and witches captured my imagination and I had to keep turning the pages. The intriguing prophecy in this story is wonderful in that it brings different species together with spice and depth. I was taken with the different characters and can't wait to read more books in this series, although I do wish the story had been a little longer.
