The first novella in the Tiger Shifters series is a fascinating and erotic quick read.

As the only female Tracker, Alexis Tarasova is regarded as fierce and dangerous and most would think twice about challenging her, but female tigers are rare and the mating run is critical to their survival. When a handful of males band together to try to force her to run, Alexis chooses to stand her ground and fight instead.

Victor Romanov is forbidden to take part in the mate run due to an injury from a vicious childhood attack. He's never really cared until he learns that Alexis is in danger and then all bets are off because nothing will keep him from her side.

This fast-paced plot keeps the reader on their toes as the tension escalates not only between Alexis and the other males, but also between Alexis and Victor as they try to fight their attraction, which has been forbidden. The author packs a lot of story in this short and quick read, but captures the imagination with vivid images and details. The characters are strong and compelling and grab the reader's attention immediately and are easily related to.

I really enjoyed this riveting introduction to a new world of tiger shifters with its interesting concepts and bewitching characters. I just wish it had been a little longer because it ended way too fast.
