Since the age of five, young Cushla has experienced the agony and humiliation of being a slave. In spite of a pain-inducing collar worn around her neck, she will do anything to escape.

Tarken, an experienced slavemaster, is sent to escort Cushla to the king, her new owner. He finds himself completely enthralled by the young slave. Although it is his duty to turn her over to the king, he finds this to be one of the most difficult assignments he has ever faced.

Author Angelia Whiting takes the readers on a trip to far away worlds in this sci-fi erotica tale. Some of the scenes depicting Cushla's treatment at the hands of her former owners may be disturbing for some readers because of the graphic nature. However, the details of her past play a key role in the storyline.

Although the slavery angle takes a twist when Cushla's true heritage is revealed, this is first and foremost a book that is heavily based on the physical interactions of the characters.

THE SLAVEMASTER'S WOMAN is a fairly quick read, but if you aren't familiar with sci-fi, you might spend a bit longer trying to grasp the nuances of the culture.
