If you're not looking for much excitement, A DATE WITH THE ICE PRINCESS is perfect for an easy, smooth read.
Having learned her lesson from past experiences, Abigail Smith kept to herself when she started work at the new hospital. However, she couldn't have imagined that when she offered a date at the hospital auction, bad-boy bachelor Dr. Lewis Gallagher would bid and win her entry. Or the sparks that would fly between them. Or that he is not as shallow as he wants people to think he is...
Abigail and Lewis are likeable protagonists, and they were able to bring something to the other that enriched them, made them better persons. I thought Abby's father would be aloof or treated her badly, being a popular rock star, but I was glad that he proved me wrong, and was instead a good father to her.
I like how we see Abby's and Lewis's bedside manners and the inner workings of a hospital. It's mainly why I read medical romances. The story flowed smoothly, with no great disturbances, almost predictable, but as I was in the mood for an easy read, this was great for my needs.
