When thirty-three-year-old Carly Wilson returns to Montana to bury her father, she takes over the running of her parents' ranch, little knowing that her father borrowed a significant sum of cash from the rancher next door. She is even more surprised to discover that the man who loaned her father the money is none other than Brett Sinclair, the very guy she had a crush on in high school.
At thirty-five, Brett has changed beyond all recognition, and is no longer the fun-loving individual he used to be. Cold, ruthless, and unemotional, he shows absolutely no sympathy when Carly explains that she can't possibly pay him back. With the loan secured on the farmstead, Brett demands sexual favors as payment in kind, or he will start legal proceedings to take the ranch from her.
Carly soon realizes there must be a reason for Brett's heartless behavior, but before she can help him, will she be forced to accept his indecent proposal?

If you have ever wished for a sexy neighbor to blackmail you for sex, or if you just like it hot, this is the book for you!
Carly and Brett have both suffered horrible personal tragedies: him losing his wife and unborn child, and she with her father dying and her mother still in the hospital, unresponsive after a stroke. The difference? He died inside the day his wife died and she still holds out up and lives her life. When she finds out her father borrowed money from Brett and the first payment comes due in thirty days, Carly tells Brett to do his worst because she can't pay it.
When a storm forces the two of them together, Brett makes Carly an offer she finds she can't refuse--sex for a month, whenever, wherever and whatever Brett asks for, and her debt will be paid. Carly agrees to the blackmail but can she keep her feelings from getting involved with a man who is still in love with his dead wife?
I really enjoyed THE WICKED RANCHER'S INDECENT PROPOSAL. It moved at a good pace and had a lot of emotion to it. The chemistry between Carly and Brett is tangible and I really felt for both of them due to their histories. I rooted for them both to work it out and find the happiness they really did deserve. What I especially enjoyed was Carly doing what was best for her, even if I did feel like her decision may have been a bit hasty.
This was a very enjoyable story with fun and spicy sex scenes and I would definitely recommend it.
