Following his principles will break two hearts.

Forester Veld loses a piece of himself to mute baker Oren when they first meet, but Oren is vowed to Haram. When Haram is killed, Veld denies his heart to respect the mourning period. It's the right thing to do.

During Haram's funeral, Oren proudly bares the brands that show the nature of their love; Haram owned him, heart and body. The elves pity Oren and think he's broken.

Veld has no intention of dishonouring Haram's memory, but his death may not have been an accident. Only a forester can learn what the trees have seen. However, Oren's independence is threatened, and if Veld does not offer what Oren needs, Oren may never be his to claim.

Veld's soul mate is destined for another. Oren's heart is broken in two. Can love bring them together and forge a new bond?

Haram meticulously crafts his love for Oren onto his bondmate's body, an act that nourishes Oren's soul. Haram's unexpected death devastates Oren and he's judged by his tribe when the nature of their love is revealed. Oren finds comfort in his friendship with Veld, one of the few people who understands the depth of meaning in Haram's art.

Veld cherished his friendship with Haram and is honored to care for Oren while he grieves. His suspicion that the circumstances surrounding Haram's death are not as accidental as they seem are validated as a series of deadly accidents plagues the tribe. Veld's gift of forestry gives him a unique perspective into the escalating situation but the information he discovers threatens to destroy the small measure of peace Oren has found after Haram's death.

Blaine D. Arden meticulously crafts a beautiful new world in OREN's RIGHT, a heartbreaking tale of love, loss and second chances. A work of art in its own right, as the intricate story is slowly unveiled, it challenges readers to continue the journey in their imaginations. I highly recommend this suspenseful story to fans of romances set in fantasy, paranormal or alternate realities.
