Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance
New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh returns to her phenomenal Psy-Changeling world as a woman in peril finds herself in the arms of a dangerously beautiful shapeshifter...
San Francisco is under threat from a violent gang…a gang that has no idea who they're challenging. The DarkRiver pack of leopard changelings has already claimed the city as their territory, and they will fight with wild fury to protect its residents. Emmett, a lethally trained leopard soldier, isn't about to let outsiders muscle in on his home ground—especially when they target a human named Ria.
Emmett has one word for the smart stranger with her curvy body and tough spirit: mine.
Possessive, dominant, unyielding in his demands and desires, Emmett is unlike anyone Ria has ever before met. But while the sexy leopard changeling makes her body ignite, his kisses molten and his touch addicting, she's no pushover and she has a few demands of her own. This leopard has met his match...
"Please note that Whisper of Sin is a reissue. It was first published in the multi-author anthology, Burning Up. This is the worldwide stand-alone ebook release for those who wanted to buy only this novella from the anthology.
For those of you who have Wild Invitation, this novella wasn't in that collection." - Nalini Singh

WHISPER OF SIN novella is fast paced, hot and steamy and filled with Alpha men. What more can you ask for?
When a street gang threatens the streets of China Town in San Francisco, the DarkRiver leopard pack must show its strength to keep its hold on the city. When Ria is attacked, then rescued by DarkRiver, she soon finds that leopards are very strong-willed creatures, even when they're hiding in a man's body.
Emmett holds Ria in his arms after the attack and knows she is his. And since Ria hasn't accepted the relationship with another man, no matter what her family says, the path is open to him and he will do what he has to in order to protect her and then lay claim to her.
Poor leopard. You almost feel sorry for him walking into a family with a very protective mother, grandmother and brother!
Nalini Singh is a MUST read author for me and I put her books on preorder as soon as possible. This book definitely met my expectations, making me bite my nails in some parts, fan myself in others and laugh my butt off in between. Having been released previously in the Burning Up anthology, I had already read this book, but it didn't stop me from purchasing it on its own and rereading it. The heat and chemistry between Emmett and Ria is almost tangible. Ria's family is full of characters who shine on their own and make you laugh so hard. If you've ever had overprotective family members, you can totally relate to this family. I really enjoyed reading this again and impatiently await the next book in the series.
