Erotic Romance, LGBTQ, Paranormal Romance, Romantic Comedy, Romantic Suspense/Mystery, Vamps & Shifters Romance
All American Ram Rage is a dedicated officer of the law. He hates crooked cops, communicates in growls and loves his applesauce. But when the town heartthrob calls in a stiffie—pun intended, Ram is drawn into the web of a sadistic killer who is every gay man's nightmare: a vagina. The investigation leads him on a wild chase involving a sassy retired stripper, a strange little town and, of course, crazy hot acrobatic stunts of an intense sexual nature with the gorgeous man at the center of it all.
To meet Kory Pleyes is to instantly fall in love. Literally. However, Kory has never returned those feelings until the moment sexy alpha cop Ram Rage comes barging, lights and sirens, into his life. Kory's friends keep popping up dead, but it's NBD and provides Kory with the excuse he needs to cling to the one man who doesn't seem to mind that he's a slow poke—this pun also intended. When the killer threatens the man he loves, will Kory be able to protect him with nothing but his average wits and incredible charm? Duh! It's Homosapia, where anything gay is possible!

Totally spooftastic book making fun of the M/M genre.
I have so many bookmarks and highlights, I don't even know where to start.
We have Ram Rage and he takes being an alpha to a completely new level. There are certain things he will and will not do just because he's 'alpha'. It was pretty funny because we've all read that character and the fact that this book was totally making fun of it was great. It was just said way too much. Over and over, we were reminded (yes, in a joking way) that he's an alpha.
In his new investigation, Ram meets Kory. Kory's character cracked me up more than anything else. He's perfect, men and women alike fall all over him and he has a way of surviving in the craziest of circumstances. It was hilarious! I loved it because I can't stand perfectly perfect characters, so A GAY ROMANCE totally got me.
There was other spoofy goodness, like all the different names for the...um...butt. You know when you're reading some sexy-times and the author throws in the purplest of prose to describe the anatomy and it totally throws you out of the scene? The authors did exactly that, except on purpose this time. My favorite being the 'love chute'.
A GAY ROMANCE is very serious about taking nothing seriously. I think it could have been much shorter and would have had the same effect, but still a really funny read.
