This erotic paranormal romance is a riveting futuristic story that keeps readers shivering in suspense.
Elise and her sisters find themselves entrusted to a wolf clan, but Elise hides a secret that she dare not tell anyone, not even Lucius. Trusting Elise is setting off all sorts of alarms for Lucius, but how long can he fight his wolf, who wants to claim Elise for his own?
This fast-paced plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well-written scenes and details that paints vivid images and captures the imagination. The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader's attention from the very beginning.
The attraction between Elise and Lucius is obvious to everyone but what they are feeling for each other seems to be a mystery to them and the sex scenes when they finally figure things out is hot and steamy. The reader can't help but get caught up in the story, especially when Elise is such a na´ve young woman who's afraid of touch because of her psychic abilities. The other characters in the story also tantalize and draw the readers deeper into the story as well as the intriguing futuristic life.
First let me state that I have not read any of the other books in this series, so I will recommend that the series be read in order because of the overall conflict with the aliens is ongoing and it really needs to be understood to get the full impact of the story. The story has a very interesting concept with intriguing elements that certainly captured my interest, so I will be reading the other books. As for this story, I found it to be enjoyable and entertaining even though I was a little lost on the origins of how they got where they are, and I did find that it ended a little abruptly. I'm not sure why except that I wasn't expecting it to end yet.
