Mason Klien, larger-than-life alpha, is just what Maxie needs to make his birthday night special.

Clancy Maxwell is an omega who is unique even to his own sub species. He's far shorter than most of the supposedly more delicate type, but the tiny redhead does not have a submissive bone in his body.

After ditching one a puffed-up alpha, the ex-stripper-turned-business-owner focuses his attention to Mason, an alpha with a small submissive streak.

But this is just a one-night stand... or is it?

Happy Birthday to ME, indeed.

*smacks lips* What a sexy little gem HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME turned out to be.

Maxie, who is an omega, is anything but passive, especially in the bedroom. So imagine his delight when he finds himself an alpha who is anything but alpha in the bedroom. All they had was a one night stand together, right?

Yeah, right. But even if it were only a one night stand, I'd be a happy camper given how well the sexin' was written. I think it's awesome when the typical bedroom roles are reversed and the little guy is the toppy alpha. It's always refreshing to read something different when so many books can fall into the same pattern over and over again.

After their one hot night, Maxie and Mason are all mopey, worrying and wondering if they should call the other. Since this is a shorty, their indecision didn't last long. Thank goodness. Everything progressed rather quickly into a nice and sweet HEA.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME is definitely recommended for a short, hot read.
