Author Alexa Grace introduces a new chapter in her series with PROFILE OF TERROR, this time bringing a pair of sadistic murderers to life.
One murderer is behind bars, which leaves the Chase brothers breathing easier. When the body count once again starts to rise, Gabe Chase finds himself targeted as a prime suspect. He joins forces with his murdered ex-girlfriend's sister and they begin searching for the truth.
As the second story in The Profile series, this installment picks up where the last one stopped. Although it is designed as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the first book in order to fully connect with the characters.
There is a lot of police procedural investigative details included in the storyline, which makes the romantic aspect take a back seat. However, the details provide a realistic look at what can happen when too many details are shared via social media.
With the Chase brothers serving as the foundation for the characters, there is plenty of room for future stories in the series. It's a suspenseful read that will keep you guessing until the surprise ending.
