NIGHT AFTER NIGHT is the first book in the erotic, contemporary romance series, Seductive Nights. With a heat factor that is scorching hot, a sexy as sin hero, and light BDSM scenes, I give the passion elements of this novel 4.5 stars! The dirty talk alone is reason enough to read this one! I think the hero gives a new definition to verbal foreplay! There is also a slightly less developed suspense element to this novel as the heroine is in the cross hairs of a bad man. Be forewarned though, this story ends in a cliffhanger, so if you want to learn the whole tale, you will need to also read After This Night (Seductive Nights #2).

Julia is a bar owner who is at a bad point in her life, saddled with the debts of a former lover. Although she really wants more from Clay, she refuses to selfishly seek anything more than a couple of pleasure-filled weekends from him as she's too afraid that any sort of relationship will just subject him to the same danger that she is in. But she gets caught up in the insanely good feelings he inspires, and gives him a glimpse of what she truly desires: a future with him.

Clay is a successful entertainment attorney who lives 3,000 miles away. He recently ended a relationship with a woman who was full of lies and refused to subject himself to the torture of falling for such a woman again. So when the girl he's crazy for disappears after the best night of his life, giving all indications that she was fleeing because she is hiding something, he's extremely reluctant to follow his heart.

But neither can stop thinking about the incredible connection, both physically and mentally, that they share. In the battle between the heart and mind, which will win? Can Julia and Clay possibly find a HEA under such circumstances?

This story holds great promise. I love that both characters are confident enough to be dominating and submissive at the right times. Now if Julia can just trust her heart and share her secret, I have no doubt that Clay can find a way to negotiate her out of her danger. I can't wait to see how their relationship continues to evolve in After This Night (Seductive Nights #2)!
