Already a major success thanks to his exclusive restaurants, Jack Vaughn is looking for something more. Ultra responsible Sterling is unlike anyone Jack has met…but she's his employee. Unwilling to give her up, Jack makes Sterling an offer she can't refuse—for four sexy weekends, he'll indulge her most wicked fantasies with no professional strings attached. But will mixing business with pleasure spell disaster? Or will they find the recipe for satisfaction?

Don't send a boy to do a man's job. That's what Jack Vaughn learns when seducing straight-laced Sterling Andrews.
When professional organizer Sterling Andrews overhears entrepreneur Jack Vaughn being told he needs to get back on the horse, she is tempted to tell him to saddle up! Her BFF Penn just told her the same thing, but after a disastrous first impression, there's no way it's going to work now. Instead of being put off, Jack is irresistibly turned on by Sterling's innocence and honesty and he decides to hire her to organize his mother's things after her untimely death.
But Jack really isn't the sticking around type, and he makes it clear to Sterling that he'll be headed back to Chicago just as soon as possible…but that he'd like to teach her some new things in the bedroom before he leaves. While their chemistry is explosive, Jack is still concerned that Sterling is just another woman who will disappoint him with her love of money--his money--and when he finds evidence that seems to point to just that, he's furious. Can each of them admit their shortcomings before their new love is lost forever?
RECIPE FOR SATISFACTION is book 1 in the Madewood Brothers series featuring a group of brothers raised in the same foster home by the wealthy and charitable Vivian Madewood. I really loved the meeting between Sterling and Jack--it wasn't all sunshine and roses, but it's exactly how numerous real life couples meet (though it's likely more "booze cruise" than "yacht"). Their chemistry is real and immediate, and right off the bat I could tell that Jack's reputation wasn't entirely made up of facts.
The sex scenes are terrific and well written. Ms. Gordon absolutely has a way with a tasty erotic encounter! With excellent chemistry and banter, Sterling and Jack quickly become a couple you can root for. Sterling is uber organized and demure yet a tigress in the bed (or counter, or ocean or beach…), which was a lovely yin and yang to watch for. Jack's bad boy reputation was well earned but over a while ago, and it was cute that calling him out on it made him cringe. While a lot of elements in RECIPE FOR SATISFACTION was quite cliché, it's still a good kickoff to a really awesome series featuring four sexy foster brothers and the women who tame them.
