Erotic Romance, Historical Romance
When rakish Ned falls in with the wrong crowd, his brother decides to send him to the Continent for "seasoning". For Sophia, this just won't do. She's loved Ned for ages—and also longed for adventure. She runs away from her boring suitors and disguises herself as a cabin boy on the Defiant, the ship sailing Ned to Italy.
Ned knows he's not good enough for Sophia, but once they're on the Defiant, he can't stop himself from touching her, tasting her, loving her. Not when a wild tempest and a band of ruthless pirates threaten them. Not when every look from her gives him such pleasure. And certainly not when she comes, warm and wild and willing, to his bed.
If they survive their voyage, Sophia's brother might kill him, but it will have been worth every moment and every hot, sweet kiss.

You never have to worry about the bath water getting cold when you read Sabrina York's books. The heat coming off the pages will definitely keep it boiling hot!
Sophia has loved Ned forever and she longs for some adventure in her life that society just won't let her have. So when Ned gets involved with the wrong sort of crowd, she disguises herself as a cabin boy on the ship Defiant and decides to have some fun while heading to Italy. Little does she realizes the fun she is about to have isn't what she is expecting.
Ned is not happy to discover Sophia on the ship and is even unhappier to discover his inability to keep his hands off of her. The overwhelming desire to touch her, kiss her and make her his is impossible to deny. However, when her brother discovers what has happened between them, he may find himself paying the ultimate price for that desire.
Sabrina York continues raising the bar in her fifth installment of the Noble Passions series. The heat, fire and steam rolling off the pages kept me reading and drinking cold water. The interaction between the characters is full of wit and chemistry and I love that Sophia sets out to get what she wants. She is full of sass and charm and you just know that Ned is done for, even if he doesn't realize it.
Sabrina York's books are all a must read for me and I cannot wait for the next installment in this series. Bravo and well done once again!
