Sometimes it's good to be bad…
When it comes to sex, good girl Skyler Thompson always plays it safe, choosing stable and sedate over wild and thrilling. She doesn't do one-night-stands, but one look at sinfully sexy Gage Holt and she's willing to reconsider. He makes her want to be bad for once in her life, and she's prepared to take what she wants.
Danger follows former MMA fighter Gage Holt like a shadow. Despite his successes as part owner of Sin, an exclusive nightclub in Boston, Gage can't risk getting involved with a woman, especially one as sweet as Skyler. Still, he can't resist a taste—and it's so damn good he has to see her again.
As addicted as he is to her, Gage knows there's no future for him and Skyler—not with his past lurking in the dark corners of an MMA cage. But Skylar's tougher than she looks, and she's ready to fight for her man.

If you like your heroes dark, deadly and dangerous, look no further than ONE NIGHT OF SIN by Elle Kennedy.
When Sin nightclub owner Gage Holt spots the beautiful brunette across the crowded club, he experiences a reaction that he's never felt before. Despite clearly being a good girl, the kind of woman Gage isn't into, he can't help but want to do very bad, very dirty things to her. Running into Skyler Thompson in the alley during a smoke break only confirms his suspicious that she's out of her league at Sin, but damn if the filthy mouthed angel doesn't turn him on six ways to Sunday.
Skyler desperately wants this clearly dangerous man; he makes her thighs turn to jello and her voice turn breathy. She wants to be bad, to experience what this darkly sensual man is offering. But Gage can't let himself take advantage of the beauty and light that is Skyler. With his background on the MMA circuit and current cage fighting contract, he knows he'd do nothing but suck the life out of her. But he can't seem to stay away, and what was supposed to be one night of sin turns into something altogether different. When push comes to shove, will Skyler's love be enough to sustain them both?
ONE NIGHT OF SIN is An After Hours novella filled with lust, blood and love. While the initial meeting between Gage and Skyler felt forced and kind of smarmy in the back alley of Gage's club, subsequent encounters were much hotter and more erotic than I thought they would be. I've not read a book that heavily featured an MMA or cage fighter, and was surprised by just how sexy the adrenaline rush of their fights could be. Their relationship went from zero to sixty very quickly but it felt organic and right, not rushed at all despite the short nature of this book.
I really felt for Gage's character; he was such a decent guy who didn't know that fact about himself. Despite his upbringing. he cared deeply about people and took care of them. He wouldn't let Skyler take care of him however, and because of how she pushed him, she came off as rather pushy and needy and clingy. Her refusal to let him ignore her bordered on obsessive, and I'm glad that Ms. Kennedy calmed her down a bit because girlfriend was getting rather demanding there for awhile. I did like them together though and ONE NIGHT OF SIN wound up being a very good book.
