SUMMARY
One sexy French chef. One kinky American TV producer. One ambitious Chinese gal who thinks she wants them both. The ingredients of bliss? Or a recipe for disaster?

Accomplished cook Mei Lee ‘Emily' Wong knows exactly what she wants—her own show on the Tastes of France food channel. But life is full of complications. First, her deceptively nerdy producer, Harry Sanborne, initiates Emily into the delights of submission. Then her boss, legendary chef Etienne Duvalier, begs her to dominate him. Emily just can't resist—especially when Harry orders her to explore her inner Mistress. Suave and sexy Etienne will do whatever she asks—in the bedroom if not in the kitchen. And Harry, her lovingly diabolical Dom, adores pushing Emily's limits.

When the network sends the trio to France to shoot a series of cooking shows on location, Emily knows her career is on the upswing. Her plans fall apart in Marseille as a Hong Kong drug syndicate kidnaps both Etienne and Harry. The Iron Hammer Triad mistakes Etienne for notorious gangster Jean Le Requin, who has stolen their drug shipment, worth millions. Emily realizes she must find the real Le Requin, retrieve the purloined dope, and bargain it for Harry's and Etienne's lives. The secret she's been keeping from Harry might prove useful. Still, what chance does one woman whose knife skills are limited to chopping vegetables, have against the ruthless cruelty of two criminal organisations?

Reader Advisory: This book contains female dominance and submission, anal sex, public sex, ethnic slurs, threats of violence and a scene of attempted rape.

When loooking for smoking hawt erotica, Ms. Sarai is a sure bet. In THE INGREDIENTS OF BLISS, TV guest chef Mei Lee Wong aka Emily is a chef battling a snobby French chef, Etienne Duvalier, on the air. Off air, Etienne is sexually submitting to Emily. For those who may be lost and feel several events in the story are missing, first read Her Secret Ingredient. This short book details how Harry and Emily fall into an erotic power exchange. It also shows how Etienne changes from arrogant domineering asshat to deferential submissive.

In this full length novel, Emily, Harry and Etienne's association evolve into a lusty ménage. Harry and Etienne have no difficulties with this new relationship status. Emily, on the other hand, is rather uneasy. She debates if she can keep it all professional when both lovers are also co-workers. She wonders if she can keep two men at the same time without it being too complicated. As they explore their kinky side together, an opportunity of a lifetime arises. The three are off to Paris to film several cooking shows in Etienne's hometown. This is where the story becomes wild and not in an erotic manner.

Etienne and Harry are kidnapped almost at the start of the filming after their arrival in Paris. It's a case of mistaken identity with only Emily working the leads to find them. This is where a reader must suspend their disbelief. This story is a wild ride and a story made for USA cable station. It's outrageous at times due to Emily's secret background. Her Chinese heritage is what makes her the ideal person to negotiate with the kidnappers, find the person who the kidnappers really want and save her two lovers.

For those who like the reboot of Nikita, aired on The CW, this story is for you. Actress Maggie Q is a shoo-in for Emily. Emily becomes a mata hari when she seduces the man the kidnappers want. With a few tricks, she's able to create an unlikely band of allies to rescue Etienne and Harry. The adventure is a bit tongue-in-cheek mockery of America's love of spy movies. The action, fighting, Mission Impossible devices and rich men flaunting their wealth is all good fun.

Ms. Sarai weaves a tale of intrigue, drug and sex. What more can a romantic suspense junkie want? How about kinky threesomes with a submissive male, a switch female and a dominant male? The sex in here is just the right amount. Ms. Sarai kicks up the trio's heat with some kinky spice. While the plot devices feel a bit contrived, the sex scenes do not. The sex scenes are smexy segues from one scene to the next.

This cooking-themed romance is more than just an erotic tale. This is recommended for romantic suspense readers who enjoy a woman being underestimated and winning in the end.

THE INGREDIENTS OF BLISS is delicious both in and out of the kitchen!

When we last left TV chef Mai Lee 'Emily' Wong, she's just had a taste of success with her own show on chef Etienne Duvalier's Tastes of France food channel, and she's dating her deceptively nerdy producer Harry Sanborne.

Now the trio is headed to France to shoot on location, and Emily is loving being dominated by her sexy geek, but she's having a hell of a lot of fun playing the Mistress to Etienne's adoring slave boy too. But when Harry and Etienne are kidnapped from a group mistaking Etienne for someone else, Emily takes it upon herself to try and rescue her men…and learns a lot about what she wants for her future in the process.

THE INGREDIENTS OF BLISS is a book in the What's Her Secret? series of novels featuring women with secrets by a variety of authors. I really enjoyed the first novella in this set, Her Secret Ingredient, and I had high hopes for this longer conclusion. I liked Harry and Emily together, their D/s relationship just jumped off the page. Her relationship with Etienne is no less erotic, with him thrilled to let her top him as often as possible. When all three are together, it's even more terrific, and the chemistry between them all is palpable. While the first book had no element of danger, this one was packed full and I found myself quite enjoying it, to my utter surprise. I wasn't sure if including that would ruin the magic, and thankfully THE INGREDIENTS OF BLISS wound up being a terrific and wildly erotic read. I would recommend this to fans of both erotic romance and erotic suspense.

Bottom Line: Lighthearted yet still packed with drama, this wound up being a very good, very hot read.
