SUMMARY
As a Navy SEAL, Michael "Midas" Baudine trains countless hours to prepare for combat. But a man can't train for luck, so preserving his "Midas touch" good fortune is something he takes seriously. He'll go to extreme measures to get his team on-board with his pre-mission, luck-assuring routines, even if it means accepting a challenge. Get the sexy but uptight teacher, who blocks his advances at every turn, to the rock concert a week from today, and they'll comply.

With a crazy rock star dad and top supermodel mom, Angie Summers was once a wild child but, wanting more out of life, has done her best to live under the radar of fame. She's even assumed a secret identity and found a job teaching at Naval Station Rota, Spain. Her attempt at a "normal" life is quickly turned on its ear when a hot-as-hell Navy SEAL sweet talks her into a date she'll never forget and may eventually regret.

While spending time with the muscle-bound sailor unleashes Angie's need to let the wild child out to play, which could threaten her anonymity, Midas finds himself on the precipice of breaking the first rule of luck—never fall for a woman.

This may be the perfect fall read for any fans of fun, fast and erotic stories! Who can resist a cocky yet superstitious SEAL and the woman who could probably show him a thing or two?

Michael "Midas" Baudine's life is filled with rituals and rules. Wear the same knee pads and lucky socks for every mission. Eat the same breakfast, say the same words, and never, EVER get attached to a woman. SEALs can't train for luck, and they can't afford for fortune to turn on them because of love. And love is the last thing on his mind when he thinks of sexy schoolteacher Angie Summers. The woman makes a mockery of his Don Juan, playboy status, turning him into a caveman who MUST conquer her.

The daughter of a rock star and a supermodel, Angie has made it a point to keep her parentage and her own wild and crazy past hidden on the military base where she works. Too bad her dad is about to roll into town for a USO concert, the same concert Midas is begging her to attend with him. The young and innocent angel on one shoulder says to stay clear of this man who could make her forget her vow to be a good girl and live under the radar, but the much more wizened devil on the other side is whispering in her ear to go a little wild again since she's been soooo good for soooo long.

Agreeing to one date, Angie throws caution to the wind and finds that maybe Midas isn't the man she assumed, nor is Angie simply the mild-mannered schoolteacher he assumed. When they both lay their truths on the line, will either emerge unscathed? And just what does this mean for Midas' luck?

TOUCHED BY MIDAS was awesome! This offering in the SEALs Going Hot series features the delightfully arrogant and completely, crazily superstitious SEAL Midas, whose rituals bordered on the ridiculous but oh-so-funny. He prided himself on his studly status, and I thought that Angie's own man-eating sexpot past was the perfect match for his claims (I truly hope these two get some STD tests done, STAT!). Seriously, their first sex scene had me cracking up at the same time I had to turn the fan on to cool down.

The writing was perfectly balanced between fun and sexy, and the gorgeous Spanish setting was ideal. Midas and Angie's chemistry bordered on obscene in all the best ways. Truly, Angie was amazing--a reformed celebutante wild child trying to stay incognito but desperately yearning for a bit of hot and heavy fun in her mundane days. Everyone underestimating her and thinking she was some goody goody teacher was perfect and so much fun. Instead of taking tons of time to resolve the obligatory conflict between Angie and Midas, Ms. Zinn had the two of them actually talk to one another and work it out. BOOM...success.

While nothing in TOUCHED BY MIDAS was groundbreaking, jaw-dropping or even suspenseful, it really was just a super fabulous sexy read with character's you'll adore. I'm so ready to devour more books by Ms. Zinn ASAP!
