Out of the fire...
Intergalactic thief, Olena Leyton is one of the best space pirates
in history. Sailing the high skies in search of adventure is in her
blood. When her crew is scattered in a run from the law and her ship
explodes into a ball of flames, the injured Olena is forced to find
sanctuary on a bride procurement ship. Posing as a blushing 'mail-order'
bride on the primitive planet of Qurilixen to elude the bounty hunters
pursuing her is a necessity of circumstance. But, being a bride isn't
something this pirate takes seriously.
Into the flames...
Dragonshifting Prince Yusef leads a simple life away from the
palace. He knows from the first moment he sees his fiery temptress that
he will possess her and make her his mate for all time. The prince soon
learns that playing with fire will always leave a man burned. However,
with passions that surge as powerful as theirs, he is not willing to
give up his bride without a fight.
About the Series
The dragonshifting princes have no problem with commitment. In one
night, they will meet and choose their life mate in a simplistic
ceremony involving the removing of masks and the crushing of crystals.
With very few words spoken and the shortest, most bizarre courtship in
history, they will bond to their women forever. And once bonded, these
men don't let go... Too bad nobody explained this to their brides.

Olena Leyton escapes the fire right into the flames when she finds herself a bride to Prince Yuself of Draig in this fascinating paranormal romance.
This romance fascinates readers with a fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of suspense, excitement, passion and humor. These strong compelling characters grab the reader's attention from the very beginning and charm them right into the story. The reader can't help but get caught up in Olena and Yusef's story as they continually clash, resulting in some very explosive flying sparks. The attraction burns hot enough to scorch dragon scales but this marriage is far from a happily ever match as Olena is a pirate and has no intention of settling down much less with a dominant male, and him being a dragon is just too much. Yusef spends most his marriage caring for the seemingly troublesome female and scratching his head wondering what he's done wrong.
Lots of excitement ensures that there is never a dull moment in this story full of humorous and snarky dialogue, a couple of chuckle worthy situations, the danger from the Var. Let's not forget that Olena is dangerous –- to the enemy, to Yusef and to herself as well. The well written scenes and details paint vivid images that capture the imagination and bring the story to life while the well orchestrated action and suspense keep readers on the edge of their seat.
This fascinating world draws readers in and ensures that they read every last word. I have to say that the way the plots interconnect between the books makes the series even more intriguing because you get the major events from different perspectives which adds a lot spice and depth to the story. I can't wait to read Prince Zoran and Pia's marriage adventure.
