Bad boys are the best kind of trouble...

Kindergarten teacher Jenna Justice has lived her life by the book—right school, right career, right image. Too bad the townsfolk of Diamond, Kansas, have a hard time forgetting that she wasn't born on the right side of the tracks. The only way J.J. can land her dream job is to keep her wild side buried and her reputation clean. But when she finds herself in another town, one without prying eyes, she allows herself one fantasy-filled night with her best friend's bad boy brother.

Professional bull rider Colt McCade is grounded for the summer with an injury. After their sizzling night together, he finds himself wanting to pick up where he and the prim and not-so-proper Ms. Justice left off. Problem is, she isn't interested in his idea of "healing," which involves ice cubes and a whole lot of heavy breathing. But the closer he gets, the more he sees that his fast-and-loose reputation could cost her the job of her dreams. He wants to do the right thing, but walking away from her could cost him everything…

I've never given much thought to the state of Kansas, but CHASING TROUBLE has me wanting to sell my house and move there STAT! Hot dayum, I do love me a sexy cowboy who knows how to stay on for more than eight seconds!

After what she thinks is a disastrous out of town interview, Jenna-Jayne Justice just wants to let loose a little and shed her good girl image for the night, and when old friend Colt McCade comes into the picture, she's certain he's just the cowboy to help. Jenna hasn't seen Colt in years, but her crush on the national rodeo star hasn't decreased one bit since her teenage days. The two spend a wild night together where Colt gets to see a totally different side to the typically buttoned up JJ Justice.

Jenna's walked the straight and narrow her whole life, not wanting to be associated with her mother's home wrecking and drunken reputation. Her liaison with Colt was one perfect night that NOBODY can know about. After all, she's in the running to be the teacher in charge of an after school program and his playboy image would NOT do her any favors.

But when Colt heads back to Diamond to heal after an injury, he's surprised and confused as to why JJ isn't falling all over herself to spend more time with him. He's not used to being someone's dirty little secret, and he's definitely not used to being turned down. Colt will have to use every weapon in his substantial arsenal to convince the prim and proper Miss JJ to let loose with him again.

CHASING TROUBLE is way more than eight seconds of fast, furious fun that I didn't want to end! This book is the first in the Chasing Love series and if future issues are any indication, I will be HOOKED! Poor Jenna didn't want to be judged like her mama and stayed out of trouble her whole life, but because she was so proper, she inadvertently made her relationship with Colt something to talk about. As hard as she tries, she simply can't resist the bad boy with the shit-eatin' grin and endless supply of condoms. I loved the line, "he was his own scandal waiting to happen." I thought that summed up just about the whole book by itself!

And seriously ladies...Colt. He's just the most deliciously sexy cowboy I've read about in awhile. He's so used to the buckle bunnies scrambling to text their conquest before the sheets are cold that Jenna's reluctance to even be seen with him is a real head scratcher for the sexy rodeo star. I loved how he was able to help Jenna break out of her self-imposed shell and become the woman she truly wanted to be--a lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets sums it up nicely. The chemistry between him and Jenna was delectable, leaving my ereader steaming and my mind creating some very delicious scenarios. The sex scenes were tasteful yet erotic and I really enjoyed Ms. Ryan's writing style. I honestly can.not.wait. for more books in the Chasing Love series!
