Terry Spear took it up a notch in this exciting jungle adventure! I'm talking about JAGUAR PRIDE, the fourth book in Ms Spear's exciting series about Jaguar shifters. Now THIS is an author who knows how to write shifter romance. The series just keeps getting better.

This book was great and the romance was sweet for Huntley and Melissa. The attraction was powerful between these two even though they were involved with other people. Then suddenly they are unattached so when that obstacle was removed everything fell into place for them to be together. I felt they were perfect for each other. Their chemistry was intense while other times it seemed a bit too easy.

It was the adventure that sucked me into this story. The Golden Claw agents are determined to keep two little cubs safe and reunite them with their parents. The plot devise was unique, original and gave the element of suspense to the story. It was also sweet "watching" the couple interact with the cubs and imagine having some of their own. A little bit of humor goes a long way. Yes, there were some humorous moments to be had here.

This was a fun read that had me totally engaged for the entire way. As expected, everything was perfect right down to the vivid descriptions that made me feel like I was right there in the jungle with Huntley and Melissa.

In a nutshell, Terry Spear knocked it clean out of the ballpark with JAGUAR PRIDE. I loved it! Four Flying Stars from this happy reader.
