Seven tasks. Twenty-four hours. And one chance.

The moment her best friend, Ben Meyers, drops his phone into her drink, model Livvie Winston knows The List has begun. Seven tasks, each more difficult than the last. If Ben completes them in twenty-four hours, Livvie must abandon her strict friends-only rule for one night of reckless, wicked sex with the most delicious man she knows…

The first tasks are easy. Order the cheapest thing on the menu. No cell phone for twenty-four hours. No ogling Livvie's model friends. Check, check, check.

But when Ben heads to the tattoo parlor, Livvie realizes that Ben isn't just playing for one night—he's playing for keeps. Livvie won't sacrifice this friendship for anything—even for a night of enjoying this incredibly sexy man in every naughty position imaginable. And she'll do whatever it takes to protect their friendship and her heart, even if it means beating Ben at his own game. Even if it means playing really dirty…

MODEL BEHAVIOR by Tamara Morgan is a satisfying, charming gem of a best-friends-to-lovers story.

Olivia Winston was flabbergasted when her best friend Benjamin Meyers suddenly started doing the list, a list of seven things she'd drunkenly written down on a napkin years ago, a list he had to accomplish before she would have sex with him. She couldn't believe he was out to ruin their friendship and she fought tooth and nail to resist him, even as attraction sizzles and desire runs through her veins...

Ben is a sweetheart, the perfect book boyfriend. How can you not fall for a guy who remembered every word you said, even the clothes you wore every single time you met up? Who changed itineraries and plans so that he could align them with your schedule (without you knowing, of course)? Who "gave her space. Gave her time. Gave her his heart..."?

Livvie is a bit hard to grasp. I mean, I understand why she resists, especially after her background is revealed. But I find it hard to relate to her. I feel like there's a barrier between me and her, making it hard for me to get into her head.

The story was very romantic, owing in large part to Ben, but I felt like there's something missing. Everything--from the first word to the last--is a tight, carefully controlled, well-crafted package, but--it didn't sweep me away. And that is what is missing.

That said, the author employed the symbolism of the monarch butterfly, and it's a very touching, amazing story. MODEL BEHAVIOR is one of the better friends-to-lovers stories, and if you like this trope, don't miss this!
