What woman can't name at least one celeb who makes them swoon and drool every time they're in the news? I'd love to know what real life dude Flynn is based on, because WOWZA he's yummy!

NYC teacher Natalie Bryant knows she isn't in Nebraska anymore, not when she literally runs headfirst into the stunningly gorgeous movie star Flynn Godfrey filming in a park. After a whirlwind courtship and despite Natalie's assurances that she will not have sex before marriage, she and Flynn quickly become inseparable. Flynn is crazy about sweet and innocent Natalie, so much so that he's willing to suppress his dominant nature and need for BDSM in his life just to be with her. Natalie's traumatic past keeps her away from men, but Flynn somehow sneaks past her defenses until she's helpless to imagine life without him. Can a Dom and a sexually damaged woman make it work?

VIRTUOUS is the first book in the Quantum Trilogy by the talented Marie Force writing as M.S. Force, showcasing an edgier side of the best selling romance author. I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled about reading this book. I thought to myself, "self, here's another one of THOSE knockoffs of a horribly written and unreasonably popular erotic romance novel. Cue the gazillionaire, enter young, naïve yet beautiful woman."

Well, I had the characters right, but there are a few things that make this book stand out. First, the writing is impeccable, as one would expect from Ms. Force. It's clean, filled with wit and sensuality and the storyline is one that almost every woman can relate to: dreaming of herself on the arm of one of the world's hottest celebrities, being whisked off to LA (in a private jet, natch) for facials and pedicures and dress fittings before walking the red carpet with said celeb.

VIRTUOUS was a surprisingly sweet and very vanilla book. While I have a feeling that the next two books in the trilogy, Valorous and Victorious, will be much darker and edgier, this was a nice easy way to be introduced to the damaged Natalie and the celeb who falls head over arse for her at first sight. They have excellent chemistry, and while I did think the Cinderella storyline was slightly over the top, it was still a well written and interesting beginning to a new series, one I'll be picking up the other books in as soon as possible.
