SUMMARY
The Stones are back. Let the OMGs begin. Angel Payne and Victoria Blue's explosive series continues. Are you ready for Margaux and Michael's story?

What came first? The princess or the shoes? And does it really matter?

My name is Margaux Asher. Don't be afraid to ask how it's spelled though I may enlighten you, anyway. Yes, I'm that Margaux Asher. The attitude icon. The bitch in the latest heels. The princess of the PR game.

Just don't bring up the queen.

Mommie and I aren't on comfortable terms. Last winter, I learned a secret that Andrea Asher has hidden from me since my birth—by another woman. And my real father? Josiah Stone, one of the world's richest men. Dream come true, right?

There's a lot of baggage attached to that answer. And now, Michael Pearson wants to help me open it.

Michael. My six-foot-three, golden god of a dilemma. He's patient, indulgent—and don't get me started on his passion—but he wants too much. He wants all the secrets. What would he say if he knew my birthright was only the start of my life's mess? What would he do if he learns…I'm no perfect princess?

Someday, my princess will come…

Margaux Asher: Ice princess, fashionista, a reformed bitch in heels, is still finding her way around her new-found life. While she's in the midst of helping her sister, Claire, plan her wedding, she is in deep denial of her burgeoning feelings for Michael.

Michael Pearson: All around good guy, who loves his mama, is loyal to a fault and has a body built for sin, has just experienced a shakeup of his own. His work posse has fractured and split, and the girl that everyone loves to hate, Margaux, is no longer around to give his imagination and libido its daily workout.

While M&M hadn't done the horizontal mambo, the heat those two generated severely scorched everyone and anything in its wake. So when Michael decides to take a self-imposed sabbatical, Margaux feels utterly abandoned. However, she would rather have all her Jimmy Choos confiscated than admit she not only has the hots for Mr. Pearson, but with him gone, it's as if all the air has been sucked out of the room. And Michael's failed attempt to wash Margaux out of his system…yeah well, he'd have a better chance of growing wings and flying.

After much hesitation, these two finally get together, which is hotter than Hades, by the way. And then the drama hits…which is enough for Margaux to erect her walls and head back to her ice castle. Now, Michael may be a king among men, but how much can a poor guy take?

Let me start by saying I love, love, love Michael and Margaux as a couple. They both have their issues from childhood that shaped them into the people they grew up to be. We also get a clear understanding of why they each have a Keep Out sign strapped across their respective chests. But the cat and mouse game those two played nearly drove me nuts! I guess I wanted more of a relationship, and what I got was "I think I love you, but I'm not going to tell you because…."

I really wanted to love this book, but there was something missing. Maybe Claire and Killian (from the first two books in the Secret of Stone Series) were just so good that they're a hard couple to follow. Oh, and for all you C&K fans, they do make appearances throughout. I really do want more from them.

But back to M&M…yes they were hot when they were together, but I think they need more time to cultivate that something special before they get on C&K's level. That being said, I'm totally on board for book 4…No Magic Moment. I love the storytelling style of Ms. Payne and Ms. Blue, and I'm sure they'll score a home run with that one.
