A kidnapping where nothing goes right brings them together but major cultural differences could tear them apart in this mesmerizing paranormal romance.
In a desperate attempt to get what is owed him, Elias Brewer kidnaps Gia Holbrook and things spiral out of control and sets events in motion that will change both their lives and the reader can't help but get caught up in the emotional turmoil and self-discovery that comes from this romance when Gia decides to give Elias a chance. The romance between Gia and Eli smolders with lots of heat, and the sex scenes are steamy and delicious. But the relationship is an emotional mess that captures the reader's heart and refuses to let go, and the steady paced plot keeps anticipations high with suspense and romance.
This rocky romance keeps readers on the edge of their seat as it grows and plummets because of all the turmoil and outside influences of their very different worlds which builds lots of tension and expectation throughout the story, not to mention the pressure that comes from Gia's ex. The well written scenes capture the imagination while the expressive events ensure that the reader wants to know the whole story.
The author has interjected some interesting twists into her werewolf world that spices it up and I found this romance to be a delightfully entertaining read although I must warn you to have some tissues close by because some of the emotional angst may bring on involuntary tears.
