"True love isn't something that comes easy, but it's a promise, once made, I will always keep"—David Jansen.
Paris Masters wants nothing more to do with men. She is lonely, but wise enough to know that love isn't something she wants to tangle with any time soon.
David Jansen is the best sniper the SEALs have ever produced—he also has a reputation for being the biggest smartass. Why put himself out there for real when all he's ever experienced has taught him to be smarter than that?
In Paris Masters, he discovers not only that love is worth the risk, but also that it is a promise he will always deliver on.
Reader Advisory: This book contains M/F/M ménage a trois and scenes of public sex.

This is one time I'm glad that my first impression wasn't correct, since THE PROMISE OF LOVE was a terrific romantic suspense, and one I wholeheartedly recommend!
After her last 2 disastrous relationships imploded, Paris Masters has zero desire to "get back out there," especially not with a one night stand kind of guy. Former SEAL and private operations member David Jansen can't wait for this latest mindfuck mission to be over. Neither were expecting to find love in the snowy peaks of Wyoming. Not clear on what his immediate attraction to her means, David offers to share her with his BFF Will, but it's obvious during the ménage that Will is a definite third wheel. The couple falls hard and fast, but when David's mission inevitably goes south, his burgeoning relationship with Paris does as well. Will the two of them be able to pick up the pieces or are they doomed before they even really get started?
THE PROMISE OF LOVE is the 6th offering in the Love's Command series. This is my first book in this series, and to be honest I expected it to be a little cheesetastic based on the title and cover. Damn, I'm so glad I was wrong! Between the sinfully erotic MFM ménage scenes, wild chemistry and excellent plot, THE PROMISE OF LOVE wound up being one terrific romantic suspense. David and Paris had an instant and palpable connection and I adored them together. Their relationship, while very fast starting, surprisingly felt pretty organic…an extremely rare thing for swiftly moving insta-love storylines. Paris could have come across as annoyingly naïve, and David was very close to being the classic caveman, but somehow their characters wound up cute, protective and fun...I'm still not sure how Ms. Jean pulled that one off.
The element of suspense was also very well written, I had no idea the directions that this story was going to go in, which made it all the more exciting to me. The sex! Yup, super good stuff there as well, and the decadent menage, public scenes and just plain ole' guy on girl was all well written and uber erotic and I loved every minute of it! There were a few editing issues, but overall this was a well-written romantic suspense novel.
Bottom Line: THE PROMISE OF LOVE was suspenseful and sexy, making me want to check out more books in the Love's Command series!
