Book 1 of Touch of Seduction
Erotic Romance, Historical Romance

Lady Viola Preston can relieve a gentleman of the studs at his wrists without his being any the wiser and pick any lock devised by man in less than a minute. But she's careful to wear gloves when she steals jewels. Because when Viola touches a gemstone, it "speaks" to her, sending disturbing visions--visions almost as unsettling as the sight of the cool-eyed stranger who catches her red handed.

Now Viola will only be stealing at Greydon Quinn's behest. And even more daunting than the violent history of the red diamond he's after is the prospect of a night in the devastatingly handsome lieutenant's arms. Touch has always been Viola's weakness and the full body-to-body contact Quinn has in mind is about to shatter her defenses and set her senses reeling.

Forget the diamonds. This one stole my heart!

Not enough money to travel abroad this summer? Then the escape of a book is in order. And I have just the one for you, dear readers. TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe will seduce you and take you on a journey in time and place.

The ton is the topic of many a historical romance. But what about a journey to London, India and France as well?

Lady Viola Preston is no shrinking violet. She is an independent woman in a time when women are underestimated. Good thing for her. When her dear father left his estate to her cousin—a man—she took her future in her own hands, and became a jewel thief.

Not just any jewel thief, mind you, but the premier jewel thief. A jewel thief with a secret talent. She can listen to gems. When she touches them, she gets visions.

Lieutenant Greydon Quinn might have been surprised to discover his prey was female, but that didn't keep him from using her to his own advantage. With a love for India strong in his heart, he is determined to find India's stolen red diamond, even if it means enlisting the help of a thief. A female thief.

The adventure lover in me thrilled to the chase. A whole new journey for me as I traveled back in time to not only London, but had the opportunity to visit France and India as well. And that probably was my favorite part—getting to take a look at the history of a foreign country through one of my beloved romances. *sigh*

And I can't forget the romance. Trust me, you WON'T forget the romance. It is steamy and sexy just the way I like it. These two have the ‘touch' and it's not just for gems. They touched each other and me as well. Who doesn't love a hero who can break through the tough shell of an independent, strong heroine?

So to the fans of good historical romance, who are interested in broadening their horizons, I give you Lady Preston and Lt. Quinn. Watch out, they'll steal your heart as well. Enjoy!
